To ensure maximum performance and extended service life of your ROCKAGE hydraulic breaker, proper installation is essential. Additionally, the host carrier machine must supply the correct hydraulic power and operate efficiently.

Hydraulic Breaker Installation Checklist:

Match Hydraulic Flow and Pressure Requirements
Confirm that the carrier’s hydraulic circuit aligns with the breaker's specified flow rate and pressure relief settings.

Correct Hose and Tubing Size
Use hydraulic tubing and hoses that match the flow capacity required by the breaker for optimal performance.

Clean Hydraulic Oil and Filter
Always maintain clean hydraulic oil and filters. Ensure the hydraulic reservoir is filled before and during operation.

Proper Hose Routing
Route hoses and tubes to avoid rubbing, chafing, or wear during operation.

Best Practices for Hydraulic System Maintenance:

Return Line Filtration
It is highly recommended to run the tank return line through a filter to capture contaminants introduced during breaker connection and disconnection.

Avoid Quick Disconnects
Quick couplers on pressure and return lines can fail and release harmful metal particles into the system. This may result in pressure drops, flow restrictions, and internal damage like component wear or seizure.
